Emilie Comtois-Ruisseau MS, DtP/N, Gatineau, Quebec
Emilie, formerly an economist, redirected her career in her late twenties to become a specialized Sports Nutritionist-Dietitian. She completed her Dietetics degree at the university of Ottawa followed by her Master’s degree in Nutrition Sciences at McGill University, supervised by Dr. Elizabeth Mansfield, PhD, RD, CSSD. Her research thesis focused on RED-S (Relative Energy Deficit in Sport) and the dietary habits of a group of teenage swimmers, combining her passions for nutrition and swimming. Her project included exciting sub-themes such as periodization of nutritional strategies across a training macrocycle and specific nutritional needs of young athletes. Currently, Emilie is the Lead Performance Dietitian for the GeeGees sports teams at the University of Ottawa, accredited at the Excellence level by the National Sport Institute. Aja Gyimah MHSc, RD, Toronto, Ontario
Aja completed her undergraduate degree at Western University in Nutrition and Dietetics, where she played varsity women’s volleyball and was a 2x OUA All-Star, Quest for Gold recipient and 2x Academic All-Canadian. After she graduated in 2018, she went on to complete her Masters of Health Science in Nutrition Communications at Ryerson University in Toronto. Her master’s included an 8-month practicum which required 1200+ hours of dietetic training. As part of this practicum Aja worked in sport dietetics with us here at Peak Performance in Ottawa where she had the opportunity to provide sport nutrition support to the Carleton University’s Varsity Women’s Hockey Team.

Tiffany Moey CAT(C), CSCS, RD, Montreal, Quebec
Tiffany is a Certified Athletic Therapist, NSCA-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Registered Dietitian. Tiffany is a staff athletic therapist for the McGill Sports Medicine Clinic and head athletic therapist for the McGill Men’s Rugby team and McGill Swim team. She also runs conducts individual sport nutrition assessments and counseling, as well as team/club based sport nutrition workshops for athletes in the Montreal area.

Natacha Ducharme, BSc Human Kinetics, CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologist, Certified Kinesiologist, Ottawa, Ontario
Natacha is a health promoter at Sandy Hill Community Health Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. She develops and leads physical activity programs and conducts individual assessments and exercise prescriptions with a focus on seniors and people in disadvantaged communities. Natacha has extensive experience in community based programming for health and fitness and has been part of many research projects in physical activity and health throughout the Outaouais region.
